Meditation with Tracy Shinchok Rescigno
Every Wednesday from 12:15 -12:45 PT
You’re invited to our weekly guided meditations to help us find peace and perspective. We’ll be sharing wisdom drawn from Tibetan Buddhism traditions and eastern philosophical traditions and adapting timeless principles for modern challenges. You’ll come away with strategies for self-care based on the principles of self-reflection, cognitive resilience, and emotional intelligence.
These online meditation sessions and offer the opportunity to connect with others in the community. Connecting with yourself and others can help you bring kindness to the world while also receiving some yourself. Taking time to pause, step back, and see the bigger picture can help you sustain yourself as you support others, whether they are colleagues, clients, employees, or family members. Coming together as conscious human beings in this extraordinary time helps us meet challenges and engage with this moment with the intention of growth, understanding, and even awakening.
Each session will include a guided meditation, a short group discussion, and a technique for cultivating resilience in daily life.
Everyone is welcome regardless of experience in meditation and mindfulness or cultural/religious background.
Search Inside Yourself: Deepening in Practice Masterclass.
Only open to Search Inside Yourself staff, teachers, and community.
We've heard a number of comments from teachers in the SIY community about wanting to take their practice deeper. This course goes beyond Teacher Training by providing a regular time to meditate with others and ask questions about your practice from teachers with decades of intensive meditation experience, as well as offering a fuller understanding of the philosophical and scientific underpinnings of each practice.
Deepening in Practice will provide guidance for strengthening your own meditation practice and give you greater confidence in leading meditations, while supporting your personal development and helping to build community with other SIY teachers.
The course will cover the basic meditations in the SIY program, drawing on the course leaders’ extensive experience in Zen and Tibetan Buddhism, but presented through a secular approach (with Meg and Shinchok sharing stories of their own meditation journey along the way).
This program is designed for those who wish to have a more regular practice and expand their understanding of meditation, as well as for those who already have an established practice and would like to go deeper.
